Anne Hathaway shares a rare makeup-free selfie

Anne Hathaway shows her natural side.

On Sunday, the Oscar winner, 40, shared an Instagram update with a photo carousel beginning with a rare bare-faced selfie.

In the snapshot, Hathaway appears to be enjoying a bit of R&R. Her hair has a wavy texture against the white pillowcase and her cheeks have a rosy glow.

In the post’s caption, she teased her followers by saying “Swipe right for a warm surpriseā€¦”, which in her case was a snapshot of a latte art decorated coffee cup of her face.

The Bulgari Ambassador’s stripping moment doesn’t mean she’s not the glamorous type.

Over the weekend, Hathaway spent time in Park City, Utah to attend the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, where she stopped the red carpet in a sexy Versace LBD and lace-up boots.

Yet teamed with a black puffer jacket – fitted with a corset bodice – also from Versace, her mini instantly took on a winter cool vibe.

The princess diaries also sported a minimalist beauty look with tousled waves, mauve pink eyeliner and lipstick that popped against her natural base.

She then shared the look on Instagram, joking, “This coat was another warm surprise,” while thanking the Italian brand for keeping it comfy and chic.

If the superstar has always been a star on the red carpet, it was especially last year that she shook the fashion world with her “ReAnnassance,” a style move signature to the actress’ outstanding red carpet fashion streak.

Whether she’s commanding the carpets in vibrant haute couture looks or symbolically taking on the front row at Fashion Week dressed like her the devil wears Prada character, Hathaway’s outfit catalog propelled her to the top of PEOPLE’s best-dressed list of 2022.

That’s partly down to her stylist Erin Walsh, who explained that she and the star “run into contradictions, which makes things classy and interesting.”
